InSight at a Glance
From inception, InSight was developed to be a means of tracking an moving inventory with ease and accessibility in mind. The development team has over 20 years experience in creating exceptional inventory control. One of the greatest lessons of that experience is the clear understanding that if it isn’t extremely simple to use, it simply won’t be used.
The front end of InSight is all about Extremely Simple Graphics. All of those algorithms and lines of code are kept where they belong; behind the scenes. The part that is in sight tells you the whole story at a glance. When you first login to your InSight account, you will see a birds eye view of your locations.
From the birds eye view, a color coded interface will display any locations with inventory needs. Choose a location and follow the items in red to drill down to which group and products are reaching critial levels. At the item level, you can order more product, transfer product from one location to another or add stock as it’s delivered.
Secure Your Data by Establishing Users
Create unique user log-ins if desired. Management will most likely want to view the activity of all locations. Give a unique log-in to individual location managers where they would only see the activity at their location. Limit what pages each user has access too by setting a specified Role.
Set Preferences for Item Groups
This is the Group setup screen. There may be some products that don’t need to be replaced. These products can be placed into a group where the alert system would not be activated.
Inventory Snapshot Report
An itemized overview of product stock levels
Inventory snapshot allows users to select a location, whether it is a sales location or warehouse. Organize the report by venue, site, group or status. The inventory counts for all products displayed acording to the organization criteria. The items are sorted by highest priority for replenishment. All reports can be exported to Excel at the push of a button.
Move product from one location to another
When items are flagged as low quantity, quickly remedy the situation by transfering stock from the warehouse or neighboring location. Update quantities per location and track product as it moves from one location to another.
